Odisha saw the coldest day of the year on Thursday, with the Upper Baraha Kamuda (UBK) location in Similipal recording 0°C at 6.00 a.m., while at least 13 localities recorded minimum temperatures (night temperatures) of 10°C or below. Furthermore, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) reported today that 24 locations in the state had minimum temperatures of less than 15°C in the previous 24 hours.
