In preparation for the 2027 Census, the Revenue and Disaster Management Department has issued a notification naming all District Collectors and Municipal Corporation Commissioners as Principal Census Officers in their respective districts and corporations.
According to the announcement, these individuals will be in charge of managing census operations in their respective counties. The appointment is made in accordance with Rule 3 of the Census Rules 1990, and the officers will play an important role in ensuring the success of the census.
