The Odisha government has extended the deadline for Aadhaar-based e-KYC of beneficiaries receiving PDS commodities under the National and State Food Security Schemes.
The Food Supplies and Consumer Welfare Department has extended the deadline for e-KYC verification for PDS beneficiaries to December 31, 2025.
The department stated that e-KYC verification is now being carried out in 11,827 Fair Price Shops, 314 Block Offices, and 64 Urban Local Body Offices where Ration Card Management Centres are operational.
The department also stated that beneficiaries who have not completed their e-KYC process yet for any reason can do so at their local Fair Price Shop or Ration Card Management Centre by December 31, 2025.
The department did, however, clarify that PDS recipients who have yet to complete their e-KYC verification will continue to get their monthly PDS commodities as before.
