On Thursday, 576 Hindi and Sanskrit teachers began working at the state’s government high schools. Among these, 208 teach Sanskrit and 368 teach Hindi.
At an orientation session and recruitment event held at the convention center in Lok Seva Bhawan, Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik signed appointment letters for these teachers.
The Chief Minister greeted the new instructors and pupils on this special day and stated that education transforms a country’s conscience and way of thinking. He instructed the educators to encourage the kids to follow their ambitions. Additionally, the Chief Minister counseled the educators to serve as role models for the pupils.
Expressing that the 5T School Transformation Programme is continuing to achieve this goal, Patnaik said that this has brought about a complete transformation in the infrastructure and environment of schools in the state. There has been a significant improvement in the quality of education in all government and government-aided schools of the state.
The Chief Minister said that 4,605 new classrooms, 16,920 smart classrooms, 7,863 modern laboratories, and 7,920 e-libraries have been created through the high school transformation programme.
Stating that emphasis is being given to recruiting more teachers in the state, the Chief Minister said that the state government has appointed 4,742 teachers in the current academic year at the secondary level.
Attending the programme, the Minister of School and Public Education Sudam Marndi said that the Education Department has achieved top results based on the 5T mantra under the direction of the Chief Minister. He opined that when the standard of education increases, the country develops. He advised the teachers to make efforts to improve the moral thinking of the children.Sashmita Nayak and Reshma Behera, two recruits, shared their accounts of their experiences. Sashmita claims she is the first government employee in her family, despite the fact that everyone in Reshma’s family works as teachers. They both thanked the Chief Minister for enabling them to pursue careers as teachers and for carrying out the 5T-based hiring procedure in an open and official manner. According to Sashmita, they promise to give education with an eye toward the future of the kids.
