The Odisha Government has increased the monthly remuneration of junior teachers appointed in primary and upper primary schools in the State.
According to a CMO statement, individuals who have worked in schematic roles for three years are eligible to get Rs 20,000 per month rather than Rs 13,800.
The administration has chosen to increase junior teachers’ monthly compensation in response to their different demands.
January 1, 2023, will be the retroactive start date for the raise. 12,784 junior instructors employed by the state will gain from it. For this, an extra Rs 95 crore will be needed each year.
It is noteworthy that junior teachers working in various parts of the state brought their requests to the attention of 5T Chairman Kartik Pandian during his tour to various districts.
