The Odisha government has created the Subhadra Grievance Module, a portal aimed to address beneficiaries’ issues about the Subhadra Yojana initiative.
According to sources, the project intends to establish a clear and effective procedure for resolving issues about the scheme. Beneficiaries who were previously excluded from the plan can now register grievances and apply for reinstatement through this portal.
“No eligible beneficiary will be deprived of Subhadra’s assistance,” said Deputy Chief Minister Pravati Parida while launching the Subhadra Grievance Module. She expressed that this module will ensure transparency, accountability, and timely decision-making under the scheme.
According to Parida, the module enables beneficiaries to submit concerns and monitor their status. Departments will reply to any concerns submitted through the site, providing fast resolution and transparency throughout the process. Block committees will review the concerns. The committee will subsequently forward the scrutiny report to the District Level Scrutiny Committee or the Municipal Corporation Level Scrutiny Committee. The final decision on approval will be made by the district or municipal corporation. Beneficiaries will be able to receive status updates on their complaints via the Subhadra site.

Notably, as of now, 1,09,87,894 applications have been registered under the Subhadra Yojana, benefiting over one crore women. Furthermore, 2,83,264 grievances are now being handled via the Subhadra portal and will be resolved using the Subhadra Grievance Module.
Monisha Banarjee, Director of the Women and Child Development Department; Pradeep Kumar Rout, Chief Executive Officer of OCAC; Krittibas Rout, Additional Secretary of the Department; and other top officials were in attendance.
It is worth noting that the scheme will be completed in one year, on September 17. A one-year anniversary celebration will be held at 348 CDPO units around the state. The initiative, which will be carried out at every Anganwadi center, will last until October 15.
