The Odisha government has planned to start the admission process for postgraduate and two-year B.Ed, M.Ed, and B.Hd programs in the academic year 2025-26. Furthermore, the state government has approved commencing the undergraduate admissions process early.
The state government’s higher education administration took this decision with the students’ long-term and bigger interests in mind. The ruling will benefit students by guaranteeing that courses, tests, and results are declared on schedule.
According to an announcement from the Higher Education Department, the Common Application Form (CAF) filling process for applicants will commence on April 16, 2025.
The admission process for undergraduate courses in the academic year 2025-26 will be guided by the 2020 National Education Policy (NEP).
According to this guideline, students will be able to select from a variety of course combinations while completing the Common Application Form (CAF) on the SAMS platform. Options include a single major with two minors, a double major, and three minors.
The undergraduate programme for the academic year 2025-26 will begin on July 10, 2025. This decision will allow lectures, tests, and results to begin on schedule, which will benefit students in the long run.
