Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi declared that the administration will hold a ‘Parakram Shobha Yatra’ across the state on May 11, 2025, at 8 a.m., to honor the Indian Armed Forces who safeguard the country’s sovereignty.
In a post on ‘X’, Majhi praised the Indian Army’s strong response to terrorist attacks through ‘Operation Sindoor’. He expressed pride in the soldiers’ bravery and valour in the anti-terrorist fight, safeguarding the country’s security and sovereignty.
The ‘Parakram Shobha Yatra’ aspires to recognize the sacrifices made by the Indian Army in the name of national honour and pride. Majhi urged civilians to join the procession as a symbol of nationalism and solidarity, which would boost soldiers’ morale in their fight against terrorism.
“Let us join this procession as true Indians as an identity of nationalism. Let us unite for the national interest. Let us further strengthen the morale of the Indian Army soldiers in the fight against terrorism,” CM Majhi stated.
