Odisha Govt. To Pay Rs 25,000 Honorarium To Padma Awardees From State Every Month

Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik declared on Wednesday that each state-recipient of the Padma award will get a monthly honorarium of Rs 25,000 from the state government.

With effect from April of current year, the sum will be distributed each month.

According to an official statement from the Chief Minister’s Office (CMO), the decision is an acknowledgement of their noteworthy services to society.
