The Odisha Covid-19 Regulations, 2020, which imposed restrictions and penalties on gatherings, wearing masks, spitting, and other activities, were repealed by the state government today.
“In view of the substantial decline of COVID-19 cases in the State over the past several months, the Government after careful consideration have been pleased to repeal ‘The Odisha COVID-19 Regulations, 2020’ as amended from time to time with immediate effect,” reads a notification issued by the Health & Family Welfare (H&FW) Department today.
However, citizens are advised in the notification to practice Covid appropriate behavior voluntarily as and when required.
