Bhubaneswar: The Regional Meteorological Centre here has issued warning for as many as 6 districts as several parts of Odisha are likely to reel under heat wave conditions from tomorrow.
As per the forecast, heat wave condition is very likely to prevail at one or two places over the districts of Sonepur, Boudh and Bolangir tomorrow.
Similarly, the heat wave condition is very likely to prevail at one or two places over the districts of Sonepur, Boudh, Bolangir, Angul Nayagarh and Khurda on March 17.
The Meteorological Centre has issued Yellow Warning for these 6 districts of Odisha.
It further forecasted that there will be no large change in maximum temperature (day temperature) during the next 48 hours and rise by 3 to 4 degree Celsius thereafter over the districts of Odisha.
There will be no large change in minimum temperature (night temperature) during the next 48 hours and fall by 2 to 3 degree Celsius thereafter over the districts of Odisha, it added.
