Bhubaneswar: Odisha registered 2803 COVID-19 cases out of 74740 tests performed within the last 24 hours on Sunday. Out of 2803 new cases, 1597 are from quarantine whereas 1206 are local contacts.
The Test Positivity Rate came down below 4 to 3.75%. The TPR was 4.03% on Saturday.
Among the 30 districts, Khurda reported the highest (475) number of positive cases followed by Cuttack (441).

It reported the highest-ever 52 COVID deaths in a single day, a sharp spike since 42 fatalities the previous day, which took the toll to 4248 on Monday.
The Health Department sources mentioned that the highest of 9 fatalities have been reported from Khurda district, including 5 from Bhubaneswar, followed by 5 each from Bhadark, Cuttack, Kalahandi, Puri and Sundargarh.
