The results of the Board of Secondary Education’s Class X High School Certificate (HSC) examinations would be released in the first week of May, according to board President Srikant Tarai after the exams were completed today.
Tarai informed the media that the review of answer sheets would begin on March 19.
Notably, 5,12,437 students took part in the matriculation exams, which were held in 3,133 venues across Odisha.
The BSE has taken extensive measures to ensure the tests ran smoothly. To deter cheating, the BSE established a four-tier squad structure and placed CCTV cameras in all exam centers. In addition, live streaming facilities were set up in around 600 centers as part of the board’s efforts to avoid malpractice during tests.
To avoid question paper leaks, QR codes and serial numbers were inserted on each sheet, adjacent to each question.
