A mild earthquake with a magnitude of 3.4 on the Richter Scale struck the Gajapati district in the state’s south this morning.
The earthquake occurred at 9:46 a.m. on Wednesday, according to information shared by the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD).
According to the IMD data, the quake’s epicentre was about 5 kilometers below ground. There have been no reports of casualties or property damage as a result of today’s jolts.
