Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi has sent heartfelt greetings and best wishes to everyone on the occasion of the English New Year 2026. The Chief Minister’s office and all state government offices will be open on January 1 because it is a working day.
However, the CMO has recommended that individuals refrain from visiting in person to convey their greetings. “No one should come personally to extend greetings and wishes to the Chief Minister or the officers of the Chief Minister’s office,” according to the statement.
The administration has urged avoiding New Year’s celebrations in government buildings, restricting gatherings, meetings, and parties. “All heads of offices and institutions have been instructed to strictly observe this,” according to the statement.
