Bhubaneswar: Odisha today witnessed a slight drop in its every day COVID-19 cases as 3,427 persons tested positive for the virus in last 24 hours. Yesterday, 3,806 infections were reported in the state.
With the fresh cases, the state’s total caseload surged to 8,73,925.
Of fresh COVID cases in all 30 districts, 1,954 are quarantine cases and remaining 1,473 local contact cases.
Khordha district continued to register highest 553 fresh cases followed by Cuttack and Jajpur with 396 and 285 infections, respectively .
