Bhubaneswar: Odisha recorded 1437 new cases of COVID-19 in the last 24 hours that took the state’s tally to 978705 on Saturday.
Out of 74735 samples examined, 832 are from quarantine centres whereas 605 are local contacts. The Test Positivity Rate (TPR) for the day dipped to 1.92 per cent.
Khurda district reported the highest 409 new infections, followed by Cuttack (190) and Puri (146).
