Bhubaneswar: Odisha reported 1629 fresh COVID-19 cases in the last 24 hours whereas a total of 62686 samples have been tested within the state, yesterday. The Test Positivity Rate (TPR) for the day stood at 2.59%.
Khurda district registered highest 532 fresh infections, followed by Cuttack (160) and Puri (96).
With this, the COVID-19 tally in the state recahed 970814 with 17746 active cases.

The Health Department also reported 60 more deaths due to COVID-19 as the toll rose to 5634. Sundargarh district reported highest 14 fatalities.
