Bhubaneswar: Odisha reports 1864 fresh cases of COVID-19 over the last 24 hours on Friday.
Khurda reported the highest number of cases with 496 infections, followed by Cuttack (221) and Balasore (114).
Among the new positive cases, 1,082 were from quarantine centres and 782 were the local contacts, based on the State Information & Public Relation Department.

Another 68 Covid positive patients in Odisha have succumbed to the disease, informed the Health & Family Welfare Department on Saturday.
Among the new cases, 1 each is from the districts Ganjam, Jagatsinghpur, Kandhamal, Malkangiri, Nuapada, and Sundargarh; 6 from Keonjhar; 7 from Mayurbhanj; 8 from Angul; 11 from Puri; and 30 from Khordha.
