In the last 24 hours, 296 new cases of COVID-19 were reported across the state, with 174 people quarantined and 122 being local contacts. There are currently 2197 active cases.
According to data shared by the Information and Public Relations Department on Wednesday, 17,831 samples were tested in the state in the last 24 hours. The COVID-19 test positivity rate (TPR) in the state is 1.66 percent.
