Bhubaneswar: As many as 3456 new positive cases of Covid-19 have been detected in Odisha within the last 24 hours, whereas 46 persons have succumbed to the disease in the same period.
Among the new cases, 1973 are in quarantine and 1483 are local contacts. With this, the total number of positive cases in Odisha now stands at 886946. District-wise details of the new cases are as below.

Among the deceased persons, one each is from the districts of Kandhamal, Kendrapara, Koraput, and Subarnapur; two each from Ganjam, Kalahandi, and Mayurbhanj; three each from Jagatsinghpur and Sundargarh; 4 each from Jharsuguda and Sambalpur; 5 each from Bargarh, Cuttack, and Puri; and 7 from Khordha.
