Bhubaneswar: Another 630 persons, including 116 aged below 10 years tested positive for COVID-19 in the last 24 hours. With this, the state’s total caseload surged to 10,15,713.
Of daily cases reported from 29 districts,368 are quarantine cases and remaining 262 are local contacts, said Information and Public Relation Department.
The fresh cases have been detected from 29n districts. Khordha district logged the highest 221 cases, followed by Cuttack (118) and Jajpur (32).
The number of active cases in the state now stands at 7,020.

8 more persons suffering from Covid-19 in Odisha have succumbed to the disease, confirmed the Health & Family Welfare Department on Saturday.
Among the deceased persons, 1 each is from the districts of Balasore, Dhenkanal, Jagatsinghpur, Jajpur, Malkangiri, and Mayurbhanj; and 2 from Cuttack.
