According to the Information and Public Relations (I&PR) Department, 89 COVID cases were detected in Odisha.
6 of the 89 cases are under the age of 18, according to the I&PR Department. Out of the 53 new cases, 53 are quarantined, while 36 are local contacts.
Odisha has a test positivity rate (TPR) of 1.01%. The most cases (10) were reported from the Balasore district, while no COVID cases were found in the other 13 districts of the state.
On Saturday, 124 people recovered from the disease, bringing the total number of recoveries in Odisha to more than 13.25 lakh. As of Sunday, the state had 588 active cases.
