Bhubaneswar: Odisha today saw a massive spike in daily COVID cases with detection of 2703 new infections in the last 24 hours. The infectees include 409 cases in between 0-18 years age group.
Out of the fresh cases, 1579 were quarantine cases and 1124 local contacts.
Khordha district registered highest 926 fresh infections, followed by Sundargarh (454) and Cuttack (191).
With this, the COVID-19 tally in the state surged to 10,62,476, including 8237 active cases.
