The State Government made a minor reshuffle in the IAS cadre on Friday. According to a notification issued by the General Administration and Pension Grievance Department, 1995-batch IAS officer Hemant Sharma has been appointed as Principal Secretary to Government, Industries Department, with additional charge of Skill Development & Technical Education Department, Chairman, IPICOL, and Chairman, IDCO.
“He is permitted to continue in additional charge of Chairman, IPICOL and Chairman, IDCO,” according to the notification.
Usha Padhee, a 1996-batch IAS officer, has been appointed as Principal Secretary to Government, Skill Development and Technical Education Department, upon her return from a Central deputation. Padhee will also be the Principal Secretary to the Government, Commerce, and Transport Department.
Similarly, Bishnupada Sethi, Principal Secretary to Government, Higher Education Department with additional charge of Principal Secretary to Government, Commerce & Transport Department is appointed as Principal Secretary to Government, Higher Education Department.
The additional appointment of Sharma as Principal Secretary to Government, Skill Development & Technical Education Department and Sethi as Principal Secretary to Government, Commerce & Transport Department shall stand terminated from the date Padhee takes over, the notification further added.
