Following a period of cold weather, Odisha is projected to see a rise in evening temperatures, providing relief to locals. The minimum temperature is projected to rise by 2-4 degrees Celsius during the following four days, according to the India Meteorological Department.
The regional meteorological authority predicts a dry spell with no rain in the following six days. The present cold wave is predicted to diminish, and the weather will remain primarily dry.
On Thursday, the temperature in Jharsuguda dropped to 5.4 degrees Celsius. G Udayagiri had the lowest temperature at 5.4 degrees Celsius, followed by Phulbani and Daringbadi at 8.5 degrees Celsius. Temperatures in Cuttack and Bhubaneswar were reported at 13.2 and 14.3 degrees Celsius, respectively.
However, the meteorological department has issued a warning for severe fog in Sundargarh, Kandhamal, Koraput, and Kalahandi districts on Saturday morning and night.
