Bhubaneswar: Odisha Schools are to reopening in a phased manner and the State Government is considering reopening schools for students of Class 6 and 7 in the first phase, said School & Mass Education Minister Samir Ranjan Dash on Friday.
The decision to start physical classes for Std 1 to 5 will be taken in the next phase, said Dash while adding the Government is hopeful that all classes would commence by New Year.
It is worthwhile to mention that the physical classes had commenced for students of Class 11 from October 21 and Class 8 from October 25. Students and parents had expressed their satisfaction over the reopening of schools.
