The Odisha government, in partnership with the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI), will hold the 6th edition of the Odisha Travel Bazaar 2025 on February 24–27.
This flagship tourism event strives to promote Odisha as a top worldwide tourist destination by emphasizing its cultural history, picturesque landscapes, and diversified tourism offerings.
During a news conference, Deputy Chief Minister Pravati Parida emphasized Odisha’s rich cultural legacy, calm beaches, eco-tourism, and adventure tourism attractions.
Meanwhile, Balwant Singh, Commissioner-cum-Secretary of the Tourism Department, shared insights into the government’s tourism policies, strategies, and strategic vision for driving the sector’s growth.
A major highlight of the event is the large-scale buyer-seller meeting, which brings together national and international travel operators, destination management organizations (DMCs), and Odisha tourism stakeholders.
The event, held at Mayfair Convention and Swosti Premium in Bhubaneswar, would let delegates to learn about the state’s tremendous tourism potential and engage in significant commercial discussions.
The Odisha Travel Bazaar 2025 would actively market the state as a top tourist destination, both locally and globally. Odisha’s hidden gems are gaining popularity, attracting visitors seeking unique and immersive experiences. With its distinct natural beauty and cultural richness, the state has a variety of attractions that lure visitors year after year.
The primary goal of the event is to promote Odisha’s tourism hotspots in both national and international markets. By offering a colorful view of its tourism potential, the Odisha government is deliberately establishing the state as a world-class, multi-faceted vacation destination.
Over 100 domestic tour operators representing 30 cities in India will attend the event, as will more than 30 overseas tour operators from 17 countries, including Australia, the United Kingdom, Germany, Belgium, South Africa, and Singapore.
The program’s main focus will be business-to-business (B2B) interactions, in which 70 Odisha sellers will interact with local and overseas travel operators. In addition, participants will go on familiarization excursions to key tourist destinations such as Bhitarkanika, Raghurajpur, Puri-Konark, and the Diamond Triangle.
Over 3,000 pre-planned meetings have been organized, along with business-to-government (B2G) meetings and adventure tourism workshops.
The Odisha Travel Bazaar 2025 is set to be a watershed moment in Odisha’s tourism industry, cementing the state’s reputation as a must-see destination for visitors from all over the world.
