The India Meteorological Department (IMD) predicts that during the next 24 hours, dense fog is very likely to occur at one or two locations over the districts of Kandhamal, Kalahandi, Koraput, Nawarangpur, Sundargarh, Jharsuguda, Sambalpur, Angul, Dhenkanal, Deogarh, Sonepur, Nayagarh, Boudh, and Cuttack.
For these districts, the IMD has issued a “Yellow Warning.”
Similarly, during the following 24 hours, it is highly possible that there will be a few locations with shallow to moderate fog over the interior districts of Odisha and one or two locations with shallow to moderate fog over the coastal districts.
Besides, light rain is likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Gajapati, Ganjam, Koraput, Rayagada, Kandhamal, Nayagarh, Kalahandi, and dry weather is very likely to prevail over the rest districts of Odisha during the same period.
Further, minimum temperature (Night temperature) is very likely to fall by 2°C-3°C during next 48 hours at many places over the districts of Odisha and no large change thereafter.
