Light to moderate rain, accompanied with lightning, is expected in many districts of Odisha on Friday and Saturday, but the weather will be generally dry in the rest of the state, according to the India Meteorological Department (IMD) in its midday bulletin today.

Light to moderate rain/thunderstorm is very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Kendrapadara, Jagatsinghpur, Jajpur, Cuttack, Khurda, Puri, Ganjam, Gajapati, Rayagada, Koraput, Malkangiri, Nabarangpur, Kalahandi, Kandhamal and dry weather very likely to prevail over the rest districts of Odisha.
Day 2 (Valid from 0830 hrs IST of 02.11.2024 to 0830 hrs IST of 03.11.2024)
Light to moderate rain/thunderstorm is very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Malkangiri and Koraput, and dry weather very likely to prevail over the rest districts of Odisha.
