In the state of Odisha, monsoon rains are still occurring, and in some districts, there is still light to moderate rainfall. According to the MeT center in Bhubaneswar’s most recent bulletin, rain is expected to persist in various parts of the state over the next seven days.
According to the regional MeT center’s weather forecast, lightning and thunderstorms are expected elsewhere. As a result, a yellow signal for rain has been issued for many coastal districts and North Odisha districts.
Besides, the weather forecast also says that heavy to very heavy rainfall is likely at some places in Balasore, Bhadrak, Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Jharsuguda, Bargarh and Sambalpur districts tomorrow, while some districts of North Odisha will receive heavy rainfall with thundershowers, while winds are likely to gust at a speed of 30 to 40 kmph.
The Regional Meteorological Center has clarified that there has been no deficit rainfall in the state.
