The India Meteorological Department (IMD) regional office in Odisha forecasted light to moderate rain with thundershowers and lightning for the next five days on Wednesday.
The following is the weather forecast for the next five days:
July 12, 2023: Light to moderate rain or thundershower is highly possible in many locations in Malkangiri, Koraput, Nabarangpur, Gajapati, Rayagada, Kalahandi, Kandhamal, and a few more districts of Odisha. YELLOW WARNING: (TO BE UPDATED) Heavy rain is expected in one or two locations over the districts of Malkangiri, Koraput, Rayagada, Gajapati, and Nabarangpur.
July 13, 2023: Light to moderate rain or thundershower is highly possible in many locations in the districts of Balasore, Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Sundargarh, Bhadrak, and a few other places across Odisha. WARNING: YELLOW (TO BE UPDATED) Thunderstorms with lightning are expected in one or two locations over the districts of Balasore, Bhadrak, Jajpur, Kendrapara, Cuttack, Jagatsinghpur, Puri, Khurda, Nayagarh, Ganjam, Gajapati, Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Sundargarh, Angul, and Dhenkanal.
July 14, 2023: Light to moderate rain or thundershowers are highly possible in many parts in North Odisha, Nuapada, Bolangir, Sonepur, Boudh, and a few other districts of Odisha. YELLOW WARNING: (TO BE UPDATED) Heavy rain is very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Mayurbhanj, Keonjhar, Sundargarh, Sambalpur, Jharsuguda, Angul, Deogarh, Cuttack, Dhenkanal, Nuapada, Bolangir, and Bargarh.
On July 15, 2023, light to moderate rain or thundershowers are expected in various areas in Odisha. WARNING: YELLOW (TO BE UPDATED) Heavy rain is expected in one or two areas over the districts of Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Sundargarh, Jharsuguda, Angul, Deogarh, Sambalpur, Boudh, Sonepur, Bargarh, Kalahandi, and Kandhamal.
July 16, 2023: Light to moderate rain or thundershower is highly possible in many locations across North Odisha, Malkangiri, Koraput, Rayagada, Gajapati, Ganjam, and a few other districts of Odisha. YELLOW WARNING: (TO BE UPDATED) Heavy rain is expected in one or two locations in the districts of Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Angul, and Dhenkanal.
