Last week’s incessant rains caused considerable agricultural damage throughout the state. Unseasonal rains have ruined the harvested paddy that is still lying in the fields. The Special Relief Commissioner (SRC) has directed all District Collectors to monitor the weather conditions and take appropriate action. According to the weather service, the night temperature will drop by 2°C to 4°C after Christmas, ushering in a new cold wave in the state.
