Ola Electric, after launching the S1 and S1 Pro a year ago, it has now introduced the S1 Air at an introductory price of Rs 74,999 until October 24 and Rs 84,999 after that. It has also revealed the most recent Move OS 3 update. According to the company, the S1 Air, weighing 99kg, is 25kg lighter than the S1 Pro and features a 4.5kW hub motor, a 2.5kWh battery pack, and acceleration from zero to 40kmph in 4.3 seconds. The S1 Air has an 85kmph top speed and a claimed IDC range of 100km in Eco mode. It also has the same 34-litre boot space. The Neo Mint, Jet Black, Coral Glam, Porcelain White, and Liquid Silver two-tone body colors will be available for the electric scooter. According to the company, the purchase window will open in February 2023. Move OS 3 will be pre-installed on the Ola S1 Air. Improved acceleration, a vacation mode that allows for up to 200 days of claimed battery conservation, a new UI – Vintage and Bolt Mood, Hill hold, auto-reply for calls, smart lights, and multiple profiles for easy scooter sharing are among the interesting features that Ola users will now get in the Move OS 3. ‘The update’s highlights include hypercharging (fast charging), which allows the Ola S1 to be charged 50km in 15 minutes, or 3km per minute. Vintage Mode and Bolt Mood are new UI options that allow the Ola electric scooter to play music while the lights sync to the beats. It will also include mood-based customization, widgets, and sound. In the app, Ola S1 users will also have access to information about the vehicle’s usage and performance. Ola claims to have installed 50 hyperchargers across India and plans to expand its coverage. In addition, the company released the first of many accessories for the Ola Scooter, including a buddy step for pillion riders and a main stand. The accessories will be available for purchase in January. Ola says it will continue to introduce new accessories over the next 12 months and has also showcased a modular storage organiser for the boot space. The Move OS 3 Beta version will be available for S1 and S1 Pro users on October 25, with a full rollout scheduled for December. Furthermore, the company stated that it will expand its 50 experience centers across India to 200 by March 2023. Ola also announced its entry into international markets, beginning with Nepal in December and expanding to Latin America and Europe the following year.
