The Odisha Public Service Commission (OPSC) announced the results of the Odisha Civil Services Preliminary Exam-2021 on Thursday.
A total of 5,296 candidates, including 1,749 women, qualified to take the Mains written exam.
There are 2,802 candidates from the Unreserved category, 475 including 144 women from the Socially and Educationally Backward category, 877 including 294 women from the Scheduled Caste category, and 1,142 candidates from the Scheduled Tribe category.
The Odisha Civil Service Examination is divided into three stages, namely There are three exams: the preliminary exam, the main exam, and the personality test. For OCS, 2021, a total of 433(142-W) positions have been advertised, including 20-230(75-W), SEBC-39 (12-W), SC-71(23-W), and ST-93(30-W).
A total of 58,241 (20930-W) applications for O.C.S., 2021 were received, with 29,295 (10284-W) candidates appearing in the Preliminary Examination on October 16 this year.
The main written examination is tentatively scheduled for February 20, 2023.
