The Odisha Board of Secondary Education (BSE) has scheduled the Odisha Teachers’ Eligibility Test (OTET) for December 17 across the state. The exam is estimated to attract 1, 60,379 participants, including in-service and aspiring teachers.

According to the report, the OTET exam will be conducted in two parts, with 47,720 participants registering for Paper 1 and 12,659 candidates for Paper 2.
To ensure a smooth and fair testing procedure, 452 exam locations have been established throughout the state, all of which are equipped with CCTV systems. The exam centers will be monitored from the board’s command control room.
Security procedures are in place, with question papers and OMR sheets being sent to the DG vault beginning December 14. The question papers will be conveyed over 39 routes covering 30 districts, escorted by armed police officers.
