Annapurna Devi, Minister of State for Education, shared information about the number of students enrolled in the National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS) for the October 2022 exam. There were 77,836 students in Class 10 and 1,23,644 students in Class 12.
From the aforementioned total, 76,776 students took the October 2022 exam for Class 10 and 1,23,619 students took the exam for Class 12. There were 43,930 students in Class 10 who passed the exam and 59,371 in Class 12.
There were 4438 students in Class 10 who switched from other boards and passed the exam, and 4749 students in Class 12.
NIOS recently released the time table for the upcoming April/May 2023 theory exams. The exams will begin from April 6 and conclude on May 20 for both classes 10 and 12.
