Since 7th October, the Israel-Hamas confrontation has resulted in at least 20,915 Palestinian deaths and 54,918 injuries, according to the Health Ministry in Gaza.
In a press conference on Tuesday, the ministry’s spokesperson, Ashraf Al-Qedra, stated that in the course of the previous 24 hours, Israeli troops had carried out 18 air and ground operations throughout the Hamas-ruled enclave, resulting in 241 Palestinian deaths and 382 injuries, according to Xinhua news agency.
Al-Qedra appealed to foreign organizations to support the defense of Gaza’s hospitals, medical personnel, injured, ill, and displaced populations.
Additionally, he called on the world community to “aim immediately step up to ensure the provision of the desperately needed fuel and medicines for thousands of sick and injured people in Gaza.”
In the meantime, Paltel, the primary telecom provider for Gaza, declared a complete blackout of all internet and phone services over the social media platform X, formerly known as Twitter, in response to the ongoing Israeli attacks.
The business stated that in spite of the hazardous circumstances on the ground, its technical teams were attempting to restore services.
