On Friday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi began meditating at the famous Vivekananda Rock Memorial in Kanyakumari, Tamil Nadu. Because of this, substantial security has been placed in the region, and fishing has been prohibited.
The first images released from the Memorial depict him in intense meditation in Dhyan Mandap, a hall at the Memorial. PM Modi prayed early in the morning at the Kanyakumari confluence.
Pictures have emerged showing him worshipping in front of the water. PM Modi landed at Kanyakumari on Thursday, following a high-voltage campaign for the Lok Sabha election. On Thursday evening, he offered prayers at the Kanyakumari Devi Temple.
He also prayed before the statue of Thiruvalluvar, Shri Ramakrishna Paramahamsa, Maa Sarada Devi and Swami Vivekananda before going to the Memorial hall. PM Modi will be in Kanyakumari till June 1. Elaborate security arrangements have been made in the district. The BJP has asked its leaders not to throng the spot. As many as 3000 police personnel have been deployed at the spot. a five-tier security has been put in force.
PM Modi’s marathon election campaign included 206 public rallies and roadshows, as well as 80 interviews, spread across 75 days. The campaign for the 2024 parliamentary elections began on March 16 and ended on May 30. PM Modi’s campaign events, which include election rallies and roadshows, total an average of three every day.
