Prime Minister Narendra Modi visited his parliamentary constituency, Varanasi in Uttar Pradesh, and inaugurated key development projects worth approximately ₹2,200 crore.
The projects span sectors including roads, hospitals, schools, clean water, and smart power, marking a significant step toward realizing the
Viksit Bharat vision by blending Varanasi’s spiritual heritage with modern infrastructure and progress.
In a major initiative for farmer welfare, Prime Minister Modi released the 20th instalment of PM-KISAN, transferring over ₹20,000 crore to 9.7 crore farmers across the country. Under PM Modi’s leadership, Indian agriculture has witnessed a transformative shift, driven by technological reforms and robust farmer support.
The Prime Minister also launched the registration portal for various events and competitions under the Kashi Sansad Pratiyogita. Additionally, he distributed more than 7,400 assistive aids to various Divyangjan and elderly beneficiaries.
