The Poco X5 Pro, the successor to the Poco X4 Pro, has been announced in India. The 5G phone is reasonably priced and appears to include the majority of the features that one might expect in the Rs 20,000 price range. It includes an AMOLED display with Dolby Vision, a Snapdragon 778G chipset, a 67W fast charger, stereo speakers, and other features. The company promises two years of major Android OS upgrades as well as three years of security updates. Here’s a quick rundown of the upcoming Poco X5 Pro smartphone’s price and specifications.
Price of the Poco X5 Pro in India
In India, the Poco X5 Pro starts at Rs 22,999 for the 6GB RAM + 128GB storage model. The model with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage costs Rs 24,999. There is also a Rs 2,000 discount offer on ICICI bank cards, effectively lowering the price to Rs 20,999. The sale will go live on Flipkart on February 13.
Specifications of the Poco X5 Pro
The new Poco X5 Pro smartphone features a traditional punch-hole display design, with the cut out in the center of the top of the screen. The device has a 6.67-inch AMOLED display with an adaptive refresh rate of 120Hz. Dolby Vision, HDR 10+, and 900nits of peak brightness are all supported by the 10-bit panel.
According to the company, its new Poco phone has the “slimmest” design. This one has a boxy design and will be available in three colors: yellow, black, and blue. The mid-range phone even has an IP53 rating and a Corning Gorilla Glass 5 screen. There are also stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos support.
It is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 778G chipset, which the company claims is faster than the MediaTek Dimensity 1080 SoC found in the recently released Realme 10 Pro+. Well, this Snapdragon chip has previously powered several popular 5G phones, so it appears that the company does not want to take the risk of offering a new chip.
The new 5G Poco phone is powered by a 5,000mAh battery, and the company includes a 67W fast charger with the phone. The manufacturer has also added support for 5W reverse charging. A 108-megapixel primary camera is part of a triple camera setup at the back. It comes with an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera as well as a 2-megapixel macro camera. The Poco X5 Pro will be capable of recording 4K videos. For selfies, a 16-megapixel sensor is located on the front.
