The Odisha Tourism Development Corporation (OTDC) has launched a special tour package for devotees from Sambalpur, Bhubaneswar, and Puri to ensure smooth darshan of deities during the world-famous Ratha Jatra.
The Ratha Jatra is expected to draw a large number of devotees to the pilgrim city. As a result of the Covid pandemic, devotees will be able to participate in the annual Ratha Jatra, which had been canceled for the previous two years, according to an OTDC statement.
The OTDC also stated that devotees from Sambalpur can board a Volvo bus from Sambalpur Panthanivas at 9 p.m. on June 30. They will arrive in Bhubaneswar Panthanivas the following day and eat breakfast there.
The devotees will board another Volvo bus at Bhubaneswar Panthanivas and travel to Puri on July 1 to witness the Ratha Jatra.
The same day, they will board a special bus bound for Bhubaneswar Panthanivas. Those who wish to travel to Samblpur will leave at 10 p.m.
The OTDC’s Ratha Jatra tour package has different prices. Those departing from Sambalpur Panthanivas, Bhubaneswar Panthanivas, and Puri Panthanivas will be charged Rs 8,300, Rs 5,800, and Rs 5,000, respectively.
Tea, breakfast, and lunch will be provided to those who take advantage of the special tour packages, according to OTDC.
