As of October 7, 2024, 1.20 crore women have registered under the Subhadra Yojana.
Deputy Chief Minister and Women and Child Development Minister Pravati Parida stated that registering more than one crore women beneficiaries under the epoch-making Subhadra Yojana would be a significant achievement. This has been proven today.
Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi is expected to distribute the first installment of the Subhadra Yojana to over 35 lakh women in the second phase on Wednesday (October 9) in Baripada.
Previously, in the first phase, the government sent Re 1 to the accounts of qualified Subhadra Yojana beneficiaries to test the transaction’s success and ensure that their bank accounts were operational.
However, the department has stated that no such arrangements have been made for the second phase as of yet.
The agency has warned people not to be mislead by fake news spreading on social media. The department has suggested that for all up-to-date information on “Subhadra,” please visit the official website or social media pages of “Subhadra” or call the toll free number (14678).
