All six occupants of the small aircraft of a private airline that crashed in Rourkela, including two pilots and four passengers, have been admitted to the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of JP Hospital in Rourkela, according to a press release issued by the Directorate of Aviation, Odisha on Friday evening at 5.15 PM.
Five of the six patients have been declared to be stable and not in danger, while one continues under observation.
The Commerce and Transport Department, in collaboration with the Directorate of Civil Aviation, is actively monitoring the situation. Senior officials work closely with hospital authorities to provide proper medical care and timely information.
Medical administration at JP Hospital is handled by Dr. Chandan Bansal, Managing Director of Jaiprakash Hospital and Research Centre Private Limited, and Ms. Tundra Mishra, Corporate Relations Officer. A dedicated team of experts is performing extensive medical exams, and all patients are under close medical observation.
