Royal Enfield is preparing to launch the eagerly awaited Hunter 350 in India on August 7, 2022. Siddhartha Lal, the company’s Managing Director, revealed the motorcycle’s design in a short video posted on his social media platforms ahead of its official debut.
In terms of design, the new Royal Enfield Hunter 350 appears to be quite attractive. It’s a small motorcycle with a sporty retro look. It gets a circular headlamp in the front, but no LEDs. There are, however, subtle blacked-out details and fork cover gaiters. The motorcycle’s side profile reveals the ‘Hunter 350’ badge and a dual-tone color scheme.
The Hunter 350 is outfitted with a stubby exhaust, ten-spoke alloy wheels, and a single-piece seat. In addition, the motorcycle has an offset twin-pod instrument cluster, one of which is the Tripper navigation pod, which may be sold as an accessory. The Hunter 350 will be powered by the same 349cc, single-cylinder, air and oil-cooled, FI engine found in the Meteor 350 and new-generation Classic 350.
In other Royal Enfield motorcycles, this engine produces 20 bhp and 27 Nm of peak torque, and it is expected to produce a similar output in the Hunter 350 when paired with a 5-speed gearbox. When it is released, the new Hunter 350 could become the most affordable Royal Enfield motorcycle on the market in India and it will take on the likes of the TVS Ronin, Honda H’ness CB350, etc.
