The Super Meteor 650 was recently on display at Royal Enfield’s Rider Mania event in Goa. This flagship RE motorcycle made its global debut at EICMA 2022 and captivated the audience. The company is now preparing to reveal the official prices of this power cruiser in India next month, in January 2023.
Royal Enfield Super Meteor 650: Expected price
In India, the upcoming Royal Enfield Super Meteor 650 will be the company’s flagship model. The ex-showroom price is expected to be around Rs 3.50 lakh. When it goes on sale, it will be the most expensive RE motorcycle in the country. Bookings for select prospective buyers are already open.
Royal Enfield Super Meteor 650: Engine and gearbox
The Super Meteor 650 will be powered by the same 650cc parallel-twin engine that powers the Interceptor 650 and Continental GT 650. It has, however, been slightly retuned to match its cruiser characteristics. The Super Meteor’s 650cc parallel-twin, air and oil-cooled engine produces 47 bhp and 52 Nm of torque when paired with a 6-speed gearbox.
Royal Enfield Super Meteor 650: Hardware and features
The Super Meteor 650 will have 43mm USD front forks and a monoshock absorber at the rear. It has disc brakes on both ends, as well as dual-channel ABS as standard. This power cruiser comes with a twin-pod instrument cluster that includes RE’s Tripper navigation system which might be sold as an optional accessory too.
