Royal Enfield has finally unveiled the much-awaited Super Meteor 650. At the ongoing EICMA 2022, this new cruiser motorcycle made its global debut. The all-new Royal Enfield Super Meteor 650 has replaced the company’s flagship model and will be available in two variants: standard and tourer. Royal Enfield Super Meteor 650: Design
The new Royal Enfield Super Meteor 650 is quite attractive cruiser. It has an all-LED headlamp, chunky USD forks, and ten-spoke alloy wheels up front. It has a large fuel tank, split seats, twin exhaust pipes, and an LED taillight. This motorcycle is available in two variants and seven color schemes from the manufacturer.
Royal Enfield Super Meteor 650: Engine
The highly acclaimed 650cc parallel-twin engine powers Royal Enfield’s latest cruiser motorcycle. This is the same engine that powers the Interceptor 650 and the Continental GT 650. It has, however, been slightly retuned to match its cruiser characteristics. This 650cc parallel-twin, air/oil-cooled motor produces 47 bhp and 52 Nm of peak torque when coupled with a 6-speed transmission.
Royal Enfield Super Meteor 650: Hardware
The Royal Enfield Super Meteor 650 features 43mm USD front forks and a monoshock rear suspension. The motorcycle comes standard with disc brakes on both ends and dual-channel ABS. The Super Meteor 650 has a low seat height of 740mm and is now the heaviest Royal Enfield motorcycle at 241 kg (wet weight). It comes with a twin-pod instrument cluster, as well as RE’s Tripper navigation system.
