Royal Enfield is preparing for an exciting future by launching its new retro motorcycle on August 7, 2022. While the official name of the new motorcycle has yet to be revealed, it is expected to be the Hunter 350. When it is released, it is expected to be the most affordable Royal Enfield motorcycle available in the country.
The new 350cc motorcycle from this Madras-based Indian motorcycle manufacturer has been spotted on test several times, and we know how it will look. It will be designed in a retro style, with a circular headlamp and a stubby exhaust. The motorcycle will be small in size, with a single-piece seat, a stubby exhaust, and ten-spoke alloys or spoke wheels.
Fork cover gaiters, an offset instrument cluster, and other design highlights of RE’s new offering will be included. In terms of features, Royal Enfield’s Tripper navigation pod is likely to be available as an accessory. The same 349cc, single-cylinder, air and oil-cooled, FI engine that powers the Meteor 350 and new-generation Classic 350 will power this retro motorcycle.
This engine produces 20 bhp and 27 Nm of peak torque in other Royal Enfield motorcycles and is expected to do the same in the Hunter 350. It will most likely have a disc brake up front and a disc/drum unit up back, as well as single/dual-channel ABS. This latest Royal Enfield motorcycle will take on the likes of the TVS Ronin, Honda H’ness CB350, etc. when it is released.
