Fans of Salman Khan got a pleasant surprise today, May 14, when the superstar released the first look from his upcoming film Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali. Farhad Samji of Housefull 4 fame will direct the upcoming family drama, which will be produced by Sajid Nadiadwala.
The Bajrangi Bhaijaan actor announced on his social media account that filming for his highly anticipated film has begun. He also debuted his first look, which features long hair, a black jacket, sunglasses, and his signature topaz bracelet.
The Sultan actor is seen in the photo performing an action scene from the film. “Shooting for my new film begins…” Salman Khan captioned his Instagram post.
As the post spread, fans across the country expressed their delight, and some even commented on the development.
In addition to Khan, Pooja Hegde, Venkatesh Daggubati, Aayush Sharma, and Zaheer Iqbal play important roles in Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali. With this film, Hegde will make her feature film debut alongside Khan, while Sharma, who is married to Khan’s sister Arpita, will reunite with the Radhe actor.
Sharma previously collaborated with the superstar on Antim: The Final Truth, which will be released in 2021. According to reports, Bigg Boss star Shehnaaz Gill will also appear in the film. However, nothing has yet been confirmed.
Sharma is said to be playing one of the lead protagonist Khan’s on-screen brothers. “With this project, I’m excited to try out my cinematic abilities.” “I’m grateful for how my time in the film industry has turned out,” the 31-year-old actor told.
Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali is set to hit theatres on December 30, 2022.
