Sam Bahadur Collection, Day 3: On December 1, Vicky Kaushal’s Sam Bahadur and Ranbir Kapoor’s Animal were launched in theaters. Despite intense opposition from the latter, Sam Bahadur has held its own and is doing well at the box office. The picture made the most of its opening weekend, with a 50% increase on Saturday.
Day 3 box office collection for Vicky Kaushal’s Sam Bahadur was Rs 10.30 crore. Sam Bahadur’s total domestic earnings now stand at Rs 25.55 crore. The film grossed Rs 6.25 crore on its first day of release. Animal, on the other hand, had a spectacular debut day, grossing Rs 63.8 crore. Despite the stiff competition, Sam Bahadur delivered an outstanding performance, with earnings increasing by 50% in earnings on Saturday, securing Rs 9 crore. Sam Bahadur registered a 56.33 percent Hindi cccupancy on Sunday, with the highest footfall recorded during evening and afternoon shows, at 74.12 percent and 61.38 percent, respectively.
Sam Bahadur, directed by Meghna Gulzar and produced by Ronnie Screwvala under RSVP Movies, stars Vicky Kaushal, Sanya Malhotra, and Fatima Sana Shaikh. The film depicts the life of Field Marshal Sam Manekshaw, underlining his pivotal role in India’s triumph over Pakistan in the 1971 war, which resulted in the establishment of Bangladesh.
